I’ve been helping people connect via live video for over a decade - well before Covid. The technology to live stream and the varying ways to do that have changed dramatically in that time. Ten years ago there weren’t many ways to stream (multi-cam) in HD. In fact, few had internet connections that allowed for streaming even in quality SD. Technology has changed almost as much as Central Florida has in that time. As a Florida native I’ve seen the orange groves of my youth become housing developments, parks, churches and businesses. Where once you’d have to drive for 30 minutes to find a pay phone, I can now set up my cellular hotspot and stream HD video, making it available for viewing all over the planet. In addition to working professionally as a videographer and photographer, the streaming events that I’ve engineered and produced include graduations, weddings, religious services, birthday parties, funerals, conferences and concerts.
